The flag of the National Transition Council (NTC) hoisted at Libya’s Chancery along Mtitu Street in Dar es Salaam on Tuesday evening. Tanzania along with many other African countries has refused to recognise Libya’s rebel leadership. Libyan Ambassador, Prof Ahmed A. El Ash’hab was on Monday summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, where he met the Minister, Mr Bernard Membe, who gave him the government’s position on Libya.
